Amsterdam

We learned how the famous Dutch clogs are carved
and watched a memonstration of cheese making.

Touring the city of Amsterdam... We took part

in an educational meeting about Anne Frank and

saw where she and her family hid from the

Nazis during WWII.

"Today we did two things, we went to the cheese/clog factory
and that was very cute. I got to hear and see how family oriented
those people were, they were all so nice. They worked together
beautifully.
The second thing we did was visit Anne Frank's house. That was
emotional for me because of her family and their history. It also
reminded me of how real it was and how horrible and cruel the Nazi's
were. It made my heart sink to know that Anne is only one of millions
of stories. It also made me feel happy about the country we live in.
It was an amazing day!" - Renee

"I really enjoyed exploing the city of Amsterdam today.
It was very interesting to see how their culture differed
from ours." -Katherine

"Being in the room where Anne Frank spent most of her suffering
sent shevers through my body because it felt surreal. I felt history
in that house." -Ilmi

We ended our day with a canal cruise.
